This is a circular walk of 7 miles over Llantysilio Mountain. It also includes the summits of Moel Morfydd, Moel y Gamelin, and Moel y Faen.
The route starts out on a quiet tarmac lane before following footpaths and bridleways, which can be muddy in places. Another very brief section of quiet lane is followed by a grassy track, which climbs to meet a wide stony path to the summit of Moel Morfydd. The route follows this stony track as it undulates over the other summits, and is quite steep in places, so requires a good level of fitness. Finally, it drops down on stony and grassy tracks to the car park, where you can reward yourself with a cuppa and cake at the cafe.
Parking opposite the Ponderosa cafe is free but limited, and on uneven ground.
